We talk about Alice Gulliver, who inherited magical abilities from her mother, August Wu of the Coral Shore. Although she rarely uses magic, she imbues her weapons with hexes and spells. While her mother wanted her to be a businesswoman like her grandmother, Alice decided to join the police force like her father, Adam Gulliver. After her mother was killed by a demon, Alice's hair turned red like her mother's, and she became a police detective, using the shorter version of her mother's title, the Wu.
